I'm using this install.sh script to achieve that purpose #!/bin/bash with every package that the system may need to run python, I have added tons and tons of packages, but still, it gives me error all the time. I need to include everything locally, starting from python3 source, to pip and setup tools. Option 1: Install Python From Package Manager The newest Python 3 version available in the package manager is Python 3.6.8. But you will have enter into the scl shell everytime as the default shell would still be Python 2.7. I have a Django project that is going to be installed in an RHEL 7 server with no internet access. Installing Python on CentOS 7 There are two ways to install Python 3 on your CentOS system: Using the official CentOS package manager. -> python -version Python 2.7.5 -> yum install rh-python38 -> scl enable rh-python38 bash -> python -version Python 3.8.0.
